About Me

I am a Computer Systems Researcher and Software Engineer focused on high-performance computing, execution architectures, memory hierarchy optimization, and systems security. I hold a B.S. in Software Engineering from COMSATS University Islamabad, Lahore Campus (Graduated Jan. 2026).

Currently, I work as a Software Engineer at Utilexa Labs Pvt Ltd, where I engineer scalable backend architectures and performance-critical services. In parallel, I conduct empirical systems research investigating scanner scalability on multi-core platforms and cache-efficient execution runtimes.

Research Interests & Focus Areas

My research focuses on understanding and improving how systems software interacts with underlying multi-core and memory architectures:

  • High-Performance Computing (HPC) & Execution Architectures: Parallel and concurrent execution models (multithreaded vs. multiprocess), scaling sweeps, and bottleneck localization under high-concurrency workloads.
  • Operating Systems, Concurrency & Runtimes: Process isolation, thread synchronization, I/O multiplexing, and scheduler contention.
  • Low-Latency Systems & Cache Locality: Data-oriented memory layout, cache-conscious data structures, zero-allocation hot paths, and cycle-level performance profiling (perf).
  • Empirical Performance Engineering: Rigorous experimental design, instrumented benchmarking harnesses, and non-parametric statistical hypothesis testing for systems evaluation.

Prospective Research & Graduate Studies

I am actively seeking funded PhD / MS opportunities in Computer Systems. My objective is to pursue graduate research on:

  1. Designing low-overhead, deterministic execution runtimes for high-rate data streams and concurrent workloads.
  2. Characterizing memory hierarchy and cache behavior in parallel systems to optimize latency and throughput envelopes.
  3. Building automated, reproducible empirical benchmarking methodologies for modern systems software.
